We've had some rain and some heat. The Fishing across the Eastern Half of Iowa remains seasonally good.
Catfish are the top species for many anglers in the heat of summer. Catfish spawn at 75 degree water according to Chad Dolan, Iowa DNR Fisheries Management Biologist. He gives a great overview of the life cycle of the species in today's show.
We have reports from Palo Outdoors, Terminal Lance Arms in Monticello, Little River Lake in Decatur County, Fin and Feather in Iowa City and Lake Darling in Southeast Iowa.
