Fish are feeding, spawning and biting as spring finally looks like its real.
Mothers Day is late this year so we just have to wait for nature, and the Mississippi River to get on a path toward normal temperatures and rainfall.
Thanks to all who contributed to this weekly report.
I will continue to gather information each week and post this podcast every Saturday morning.

This is our first podcast of a weekly show that will run through October. Its all about where to catch fish. I talk with bait shops, marinas, lake managers and Iowa DNR. My goal is to bring forth accurate information that helps you find good places to fish. There's also a Walleye Challenge fishing tournament that you can join. Catch fish, document with your cell phone and release. More on that in our last feature from Jeff Kopaska with DNR.
Thanks to all those who participated: Kimberly at Little River Lake, Mike at Hank's in Waterloo, Joe at Terminal Lance Arms in Monticello, Mark at Fin and Feather in Iowa City, and Matt at Palo Outdoors
